Breathing

This playful workshop led by Raf de Groote offers surprising insights and upward shifts in your bodily awareness and flute playing.
Raf De Groote (1960) is a Belgian flutist and flute teacher.
As a young musician, he often struggled with tension-related issues.
In 2002, he developed a collapsed lung during traditional breathing exercises.
Searching for answers became a passion in itself. In 2011 he became a certified Body Mapping teacher, and later expanded his expertise with a three-year training program to become a Franklin Method movement educator.
The combination of these insights, together with his exploration of breathing, results in a unique perspective and a well-founded approach.
