The Kyteman Orchestra tours with Adams

Colin Benders, better known as Kyteman, was the musical sensation of 2009 with his Hip-Hop Orchestra. Now, three years later, he’s back, with The Kyteman Orchestra. Their tour kicked off last week at Tivoli Utrecht, with Adams instruments on stage.
The 15-piece Hip-Hop Orchestra has grown into a 50-member ensemble, with Benders conducting. For a year, Kyteman rehearsed with his new orchestra in the studios of Kytopia, a creative music hub in Utrecht. The result is a stunning album, still with hip-hop roots, but with classical and jazz music taking center stage.
Their tour hits the major Dutch venues and festivals such as Pinkpop and North Sea Jazz, but also includes performances in Belgium and the UK, marking Kyteman’s international reach.
With Kyteman playing an Adams flugelhorn, Randell Heye on both Adams trumpet and flugelhorn, and a wide array of Adams percussion on stage, the company can clearly call itself the official supplier to this artist who won the Dutch Pop Award in 2010.
