New Adams Endorser!
After a number of very positive discussions, Slagerij van Kampen and Adams have reached an agreement… The most original band in the Netherlands is going to play on Adams Drums. Drums like you’ve never seen before. Acoustic power with harmonious arrangements. Eccentric and swinging, overwhelming and spectacular. The colorful compositions, written by the founders and artistic leaders of the band Mies Wilbrink and Willem van Kruijsdijk, are collected on more than 10 albums and performed live by four percussionists and a multi-instrumentalist: Gijbert Zwart, Clara de Mik, Boudine van Slobbe, Johan Boere and Robin van Vliet.
The concept of Slagerij van Kampen has grown in nearly 25 years into a phenomenon that the Netherlands can be proud of. It has become a role model for many other percussion groups and, with more than 100 concerts per year, one of the most active bands. A few highlights from their long list of achievements include sold-out concerts everywhere, an Edison Award, a gold record — and now all of that in collaboration with Adams. Beyond all media hype, Van Kampen still managed to reach a wide audience and maintain and expand that attention. A remarkable success for a band with such unique music.
