Cornelis Johannes (Cesar) Zuiderwijk (The Hague, July 18, 1948) is a Dutch drummer. Since 1970, he has been a member of the Hague-based rock band Golden Earring.

He started playing guitar at twelve, but switched to drums at fourteen, after his father passed away. Drumming became a way to release his bottled-up aggression. He played in a school band, The Ladybirds, Hu & The Hilltops and Livin' Blues.

In 1970, he was asked to join Golden Earring as the replacement for Sieb Warner. Cesar quickly proved to be the perfect musical and personal match for George Kooymans, Barry Hay and Rinus Gerritsen. Aside from two short five-man lineups, the band has remained unchanged. Cesar became known for his long drum solos, often ending by leaping over his drum kit.

In 1985, he made headlines when police found a gun in his attic — smuggled years earlier inside his drum kit after a U.S. tour. He was sentenced to one month in prison.

In 1992, he played "Radar Love" with a thousand drummers on a floating stage in Rotterdam. In 1999, he gave drumming lessons to war-traumatized children in Mostar for War Child. In 2000, he toured with Percossa Percussion with the successful theater show “Alle gekheid met een stokje,” later released on DVD.

In 2006, he launched a new theater show called Slagdroom.
