ADAMS DRUM CLINIC & ADAMS DRUMMERS FESTIVAL

ADAMS DRUM CLINIC - April 23, 2008
ADAMS DRUMMERS FESTIVAL - April 5, 2009

Simon Phillips is currently one of the world’s most renowned and respected drummers. He has played with The Who, Jeff Beck, Roxy Music, Mick Jagger and Steve Lukather (Toto), among others.

After the death of Jeffrey Porcaro in 1992, Simon was asked to support Toto on their Kingdom Of Desire World Tour. Simon had only a few weeks to learn all the songs and rehearse with Toto, yet the tour was a great success. Later the band asked him to take a permanent place, leading to Simon’s first Toto album, Tambu, released in 1995.

He has recently taken over Sheila E.’s studio, where the Toto album Falling In Between was recorded, and the studio now carries the name Phantom Recordings. He continues to tour extensively with Toto.
