Patrick De Smet (born 1968) is a highly sought-after musician and soloist who has performed with numerous orchestras including I Fiamminghi, the Flemish Opera, La Monnaie Opera House, Il Novecento, the Beethoven Academy, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and more.

However, Patrick De Smet is best known as the virtuoso percussionist of The Night of The Proms. He is also the founder and driving force behind ‘The Symphonic Factory’, his own orchestra with which he accompanies many artists. In addition to being a talented musician and natural entertainer, Patrick De Smet is also a masterful arranger and passionate conductor.
