Stef Broks (Etten-Leur, Netherlands) is the drummer of the metal band “Textures” and the fusion band “Xivious”.
Textures made Dutch metal history with the albums “Polars”, “Drawing Circles”, and “Silhouettes”.
The band is highly recognizable, largely due to Stef’s drumming skills. His unique style — strange, almost non-metal — complex patterns and double bass drum grooves are his signature.
Stef teaches at the Mark Eeftens Drum School (Breda) and at Cesar Zuiderwijk’s Music Station (Rotterdam). Stef's name is booming in the drum scene; he was mentioned in the 2006 drum polls and has now been voted the best metal drummer in the Benelux.
