On Thursday, April 10th at 12:30 PM, a large truck arrived at the Casino Hall in Diest. The world's most extensive drum kit had just arrived! Half an hour later, all the cases, flight cases, and covers were spread throughout the hall and setup could begin...
Around 3 PM, Bozzio had arrived and the 64-piece drum kit started to take shape. By 5 PM, the soundcheck began and surprisingly took very little time. By 6:30 PM, the doors of the hall were opened.
At 8:15 PM, the moment had come… Bozzio came, saw, and conquered! In a sold-out Casino Hall in Diest, the audience got more than their money’s worth. Bozzio’s unmatched drumming style, marked by incredible technical independence and a deep focus on melody, made the drum clinic truly sublime. Thanks to his classical training, he brings a completely different approach to the drum set, and with years of experience, he knows exactly how to build a clinic. The carefully crafted crescendos and the grand climax at the end left many breathless… Wow!
After his performance, Terry Bozzio gave us a great compliment, saying that his show at the Adams Drummers Festival was perhaps one of the best of his European tour in recent weeks.
