The day will be opened by the winner of Drumtalent 2013, Mees Riechelman. This drum contest, organized by Slagwerkkrant and Adams Drumworld, Hit It, and Music Station, is held every two years, and one of the prizes for the winner is this opening performance at the Drumworld Festival. Riechelman has since turned his attention to creating quirky videos.
