DWF 2013 - SR9 Trio
This year, the Drumworld Festival also features classical percussion. The SR9 Trio from Lyon, featuring Alexandre Esperet, Nicolas Cousin, and Paul Changarnier, uses an extensive setup of marimbas, vibraphones, bells, gongs, and drums for their performances.

In 2012, they won the International Percussion Competition of Luxembourg (first prize, audience prize, and Lalux prize). They perform repertoire ranging from Bach to Takemitsu, but are constantly seeking innovation in classical percussion by making their music suitable for dance and theater and integrating electronics.
