Grossmann is the ultimate metal drummer. He plays incredibly fast and with great volume. With effortless skill he weaves one complex time signature into another. His blast beats are lightning fast, his fills are ferocious, and he has the precision of a computer. How many hours has this man spent in the practice room?

With his German-Dutch band Obscura, Hannes Grossmann performs some 150 shows per year. He also plays in the American band Blotted Science. His 2-DVD set Progressive Concepts for the Modern Metal Drummer was recently released by Hudson Music. His instructional book Extreme Metal Drumming will soon be published by Hal Leonard.
