3rd name Drumworld Festival 2012
This young guy is truly a talent and a rising star in Germany.
The Würzburg-born drummer of "The Intersphere" comes from a musical family — like most drummers. His inspiration was the drummer from his father's band. That Jim Evans lived in the same village was no coincidence, as he admitted in one of his many interviews.
After finishing school, he met Udo Damen, who soon became his teacher at the Pop Academy in Mannheim. His move to Mannheim led to the formation of the band "The Intersphere", now well-known in Germany and with two albums to their name — playing festivals such as Rock im Park and Rock am Ring!
Despite his young age, he already carries quite the résumé. Consider his participation in Jasper van ’t Hof’s project "Hotlips", or guitarist Ali Neander’s fusion project with Hellmut Hattler.
Besides playing at the Montreal Drum Festival, he has worked with Aura Dione, Julia Neigel, Moses P, Bobby Kimball, Xavier Naidoo, and The Weather Girls!!
And now, on September 9, at the Adams Drumworld Festival.
