DWF 2011 - Martin & friends

Martin Verdonk, born in Curaçao but living in the Netherlands since the 1970s, is one of the country’s greatest musical exports! He has performed with just about every major musician in the Netherlands, and internationally he has earned his stripes through performances and recordings with many big names. A few random highlights from his biography: Lionel Richie, Chaka Khan, Santana, Prince, Shaggy, Roy Hargrove.

At the Drumworld Festival, Martin will not appear on stage alone. Especially for this event, Cuban All Star trumpeter Amik Guerra and Bulgarian melodic percussionist Vladimir Petrov will join him. It promises to be a unique performance with plenty of interaction and audience Q&A.
