Improvise!
Saturday 31 October 2026 | 15:00 - 15:45 | Room G
What happens when a group of low flutists starts making music together without a single note on the page?
In this fun, hands-on workshop, we'll explore the rich sound world of the low flute family through
group improvisation. With simple prompts and playful exercises, we'll create music together,
discover new textures and colours, and learn how listening can be just as important as playing.
No improvisation experience is needed - just curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Along the
way, we'll explore one big question: Are there any rules for improvisation? Together, we'll discover
which ideas can help us create music, and when it's worth breaking the rules.
Come ready to play, listen, and be surprised by what we can create together
