Making music on the low end

Have you ever played a piece of music and got stuck because it all feels so different on your low flute? This workshop is about analysing, understanding and overcoming the challenges that a big flute can have so we can make music the way we want to.
A practical workshop in which we will play music specifically
arranged by me for low flutes from different styles and eras and also some
examples from existing solos for low flutes.
Some of the questions we will answer in this workshop are
- How to play true legato on big flutes
- How to handle register changes and big jumps
- How to play staccato, especially in the lower register
- How to adjust our vibrato on lower flutes
- How to produce a focused sound
And this is certainly a good place for you to bring your own questions to
the table.
