Pete Ray Biggin has long been recognised as one of the leading figures in the international drumming scene. As the drummer for the legendary British band Level 42 and former drummer for Mark Ronson, he has performed on some of the world's biggest stages. He has also worked with global stars including Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, Adele, Robbie Williams, Incognito, Whitney Houston, The Specials and many others. His outstanding career has established him as one of the United Kingdom's most sought-after session and live drummers.
Pete is renowned for his unrivalled groove, explosive energy and phenomenal technique. His playing blends funk, soul, jazz, fusion and pop in a way that is both technically outstanding and deeply musical. His powerful timing, deep pocket and creative fills make every performance unforgettable. His talent was recognised at an early age. At just twelve years old, he won the national Drummers Alliance Beat '93 Under-16 competition. Since then, he has built an impressive international career as a drummer, clinician, educator and bandleader of his own funk band, PB Underground.
