Stanton Moore is an American drummer, best known as one of the founders of the funk-jazz band Galactic.
Moore also has a solo recording career and multiple side projects, both as a musician and educator.
He has recorded with bands ranging from jazz-funk with keyboardist Robert Walter to heavy metal with Corrosion of Conformity.
He also travels internationally to teach drumming in the New Orleans style, regularly writes for drum magazines, and releases instructional books and videos.
In 2017, Moore founded the "Stanton Moore Drum Academy."
