Master Class Emily Beynon
A Master Class is an individual lesson of 45 minutes given by one of our guest teachers. You can register for a master class as an active participant or as an auditor.
Active participant: You register via the registration form with a specific teacher and for a specific time slot. You will then receive 45 minutes of lessons from the teacher in question. Audience members may be present. You submit two works that you want to discuss/play during the lesson. Your registration as an active participant also entitles you to free participation for the rest of the day as an observer with this teacher.
Auditor: You register via the registration form as an Auditor with a specific guest teacher. This registration is valid for the entire day with that teacher. You do not play yourself but listen to the active participants who do play.
You may register for a maximum of 2 master classes per day as an active participant and you may only book one time slot per teacher!
Most master classes will fill up quickly. After all, only a limited number of people can play as active participants per class. However, we maintain a reserve list. If you want to be on this list, you have to register as a Auditor with the teacher in question and write in the "comments" field that you would like to be on the reserve list. You will then be called if someone cancels. This list works on a "first come, first served" basis!
