Competition

Today the finals of the International Flute Competition for Bachelor and Master students will take place.
After the more than 150 participants from all over Europe, Asia and North- and South America have played in various preliminary rounds since the beginning of this week, the three remaining students will fight a musical battle today, accompanied by the Festival Orchestra conducted by Carlo Jans.
The jury today consists of:

Anne-Cathérine Heinzmann
Gaby Pas-Van Riet
Javier Castiblanque

Afterwards, the winners of both competitions will perform the compulsory work in the Laureates concert. The finals are not open to the public, but we cordially invite you to attend the Laureates concert. Here you will hear the winners of a very exciting competition!
