Trombone & Euphonium Workshop with Ilja Reijngoud
On Saturday 6 March 2027, we are delighted to welcome the renowned trombonist Ilja Reijngoud for an inspiring workshop at Adams Music Centre.
This workshop is open to all trombonists and euphonium players, regardless of age, experience or ability. Everyone will take an active part. Together you will work on technical exercises, play straightforward ensemble arrangements and explore improvisation in an accessible way. Although Ilja is internationally recognised for his impressive career in jazz, this is not an exclusively jazz-focused workshop. Throughout the day, he will share his expertise on technique, musicality, sound, improvisation and ensemble playing, supported by practical examples and personal insights.
Whether you want to improve your playing technique, gain new musical perspectives or simply enjoy an inspiring day with one of the Netherlands' best-known brass musicians, this workshop offers valuable knowledge for every participant.
Throughout the day, you will also have the opportunity to try and compare a range of Kühnl & Hoyer trombones.
