Cédric Delvaux

Cédric Delvaux is a versatile Belgian saxophonist who is active as a soloist, orchestral and chamber musician.

He searches for innovation and explores the boundaries of his instrument by playing in ensembles with unusual formations offering a wide spectrum of new timbres and by collaborating with composers and other art forms such as theater, visual arts, etc.

Besides playing original saxophone repertoire and new creations, Cédric is an avid interpreter of transcriptions of well-known works from various stylistic periods.

Cédric Delvaux gives concerts both nationally and internationally, with performances in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Norway, and China.

Besides being a performing artist, Cédric is also a passionate educator who is keen on sharing his knowledge and experience tailored to each group or individual.

Jérôme Laran

Jérôme Laran, born in 1978, has quickly established himself as one of the leading figures of the French saxophone school.

He studied at the Paris Conservatory and won the Adolphe Sax International Competition in Dinant in 2002. Since then, he has built an international career, performing in more than 20 countries.

He appears as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Orchestre d'Harmonie de la Garde Républicaine and the Banda Sinfonica Portuguesa.

He has recorded numerous CDs, including Osmose, released in 2022 with the Musique de la Garde Républicaine. He collaborates extensively with composers and has been directing a collection for Gérard Billaudot since 2023. He is also the artistic director of the Rencontres Musicales de Capvern festival, which he founded in 2007.

He plays exclusively on Henri Selmer Paris saxophones and Vandoren mouthpieces and reeds.

Currently, he teaches saxophone at the C.R.R. in Paris and the Luca School of Arts in Leuven (Belgium) and gives masterclasses worldwide.
