On Saturday 24 August, we welcome none other than Bert Appermont to Lummen, where he will guide us through the fundamental principles and creative space of musical improvisation.
Improvisation often uses existing elements such as a chord progression - especially in jazz - but the music itself is created in the moment. Being a strong improviser means trusting your skills and musical intuition in the here and now. Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity.
Bert Appermont (Bilzen, 1973) is a renowned Belgian music educator, conductor, composer, and arranger. He also writes under the pseudonym Robert Finn.
