Which drum kit suits which age?
5–7 years: discovering rhythm
At this age, motor skills are still developing. A practice pad or a compact children’s drum kit is ideal for training coordination without overwhelming sound levels.
8–11 years: ready for a real drum kit
A standard electronic drum kit with adjustable hardware is suitable for children from the age of 8. Most entry-level models are height-adjustable, ensuring the kit still fits properly after a growth spurt.
12 years and older: a focused start
From the age of 12, young people often already have a clear musical preference. The rental period is an ideal way to test commitment before investing in an acoustic drum kit such as the Adams 3000 Series.
How does the rental scheme at Adams work?
You rent an Adams 3000 drum kit including hardware, stool and cymbals for €200 for 3 months. At the end of this period, you can choose from three options:
- Purchase: You decide to buy the drum kit. The €200 rental fee will be deducted from the purchase price.
- Extend for another quarter: You extend the rental for another €200. After this second period, you can only purchase or return the kit.
- Return: Has drumming turned out not to be for your child? Simply return the kit. No additional costs, no complications.
