Sébastien Guedj
Sébastien Guedj, born in 1978, studied at the Conservatoire of Nice and the Conservatoire of Lyon.
He has performed with numerous orchestras in France, Monaco, and Luxembourg, collaborating with renowned conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung, Kurt Masur, Peter Eötvös, Semyon Bychkov, Emmanuel Krivine, and Daniele Gatti. Since 2006, he has been principal oboist of the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. He also performs with several ensembles, including the Bacchus Quartet, an original ensemble blending classical music with jazz influences and French chansons. Since 2015, he has been a regular guest at the "Musique et Vin" festival at Clos Vougeot in Beaune, performing alongside leading musicians. He has been teaching oboe at the Conservatory of Liège since 2016 and at the Académie Grétry since 2022.
