From 1988 to 1994, Herman Vincken was the principal oboist of the former Radio Chamber Orchestra of the Broadcasting Music Center. With this orchestra, he toured several times and frequently performed as a soloist. Since March 1994, Herman Vincken has been a member of Het Brabants Orkest. He has also performed as a soloist with this orchestra on various occasions. Since 1997, Herman Vincken has been a professor of oboe at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg.
