Adams Musical Centres - Together in Music

Floor Wittink

Last year, Floor Wittink gave her first-ever Breathing workshop at our Flute Festival, and everyone was thrilled! So, she's back again this year with her captivating workshop! Highly recommended!

Floor Wittink is a saxophonist, storyteller, and breathing coach.
In 2002, she received her Masters degree in Classical Saxophone. Afterward, she spent three months at The Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada and recorded her solo CD there. She has played in many projects, ranging from chamber music and symphonic music to musical theater.
Floor has collaborated with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Holland Opera, harpist Merel Naomi, guitarist Jonas Skielboe, and pianist Anna van Nieukerken, among others. Currently, Floor primarily plays chamber music with pianist Marina Grigorowitsch and tours with her storytelling concert "Mijn Mogelijk weten ze alles" (Maybe They Knew Everything), in which she tells stories by Toon Tellegen, accompanying herself on piano and saxophone.
In addition to being a musician, Floor is also a breathing coach and gives lessons and workshops on breathing to wind players, singers, and speakers. Outside of music, she helps people develop healthy breathing patterns. The website features various articles, tips, podcasts, and online courses on breathing and saxophone playing.
