Annemarie Kosse
Annemarie Kosse is an inspiring and enthusiastic flute teacher looking to provide more than just a flute lesson. She is co-founder of Flutopia. The first edition in 2016 has been a big success and preparations for the next edition are already in full swing, it will be another great year. She will also join as a teacher at the flute camp (dwarsfluitkamp).
Since last year she is a board member at the National flute Competition (Nationaal Fluit Concours). Along with the other board members, she organizes the annual competition, the preliminary rounds and all other activities.
Besides teaching she forms a duo with her pianist. They play mostly romantic music, but works by Ian Clarke are also included in their repertoire. The story behind the music is key in her work, in collaborating with her pianist and also in the way she teaches. She would like to initiate a fresh impetus in the flute world, she stands for more activities for the young students and for making flute playing not only about the flute lesson and your practise at home. She would like to see the flute gain in popularity again in The Netherlands and she will work hard to reach that goal.
