History:
Bram received his first drum kit on his seventh birthday and immediately caught the drum bug. After spending many hours in the rehearsal room and at music school, he formed his first band with three friends from secondary school. With this band Bram participated in Kunstbende. After a very fun and educational journey, they reached the regional finals.
A few years later Bram joined the band Wake Up! With this band he played several great shows. Wake Up! toured along venues such as 013, Luxor Live, Patronaat and Solar Festival together with bands including Triggerfinger and Kinkobra.
In the summer of 2015 Bram founded the pop band "Statesmen" with several fellow students. The band quickly achieved many successes (signed with Innercore Music, booking deal with Agents After All and many shows throughout the Netherlands and Germany) and is currently recording a debut album. For a more detailed biography about Statesmen see "bio Statesmen".
Besides playing in Statesmen, Bram also plays in the Americana band Martinus and is regularly booked for session and studio work.
Bram recently graduated from the Rockacademie, specializing in "drums". At the Rockacademie he built a large part of his musical network and was taught by many well-known names from the Dutch music scene.
In addition, Bram gives band coaching workshops to secondary school students and drum lessons to students of various ages and levels.
