For about 3 years I have been working closely with the Dutch company ADAMS, which strongly supports me in my musical activities, both live and in teaching.

I play an Adams Drum Set from the 8000 series in an unlacquered natural wood finish:

  • Bass Drum: 22 x 18"
  • Snare: 14 x 6" / 12 x 4"
  • Toms: 8 x 8" / 10 x 8" / 12 x 10" / 13 x 12" / 14 x 12" / 15 x 13"
  • Gong Tom: 20 x 16"

In addition, I use 4 Octobans (low) and a 10" side snare from the brand Tama.

For live electronics, I use the Roland SPD-SX, without additional triggers.

My sub mixer is an Allen & Heath QU-16

Microphones

  • Kick: 1) Shure SM 91 (inside) and 2) AKG D12 vr (outside)
  • Snares: Shure SM 57 and Shure SM 57 Beta
  • Toms: EV ND 408B
  • Hi-hats: Neumann KM 184
  • Ride: Neumann KM 184
  • Overheads: AKG C-414 B-ULS

The size of the set-up naturally always depends on the respective musical situation. I only use the complete set, as described above, at my DrumsOnMars solo concerts.
