History:
Martîn grew up in a musical family. He started drumming at a young age. In 1979 he formed his first band No Choice. Later he was in Claxon. In late 1988, Jack Poels invited Martîn to join Rowwen Hèze. His debut with the band was in April 1989 at De Melkweg in Amsterdam. Besides drumming, he also began writing lyrics including “Nacht” and “Probleme”.
