How to choose the right tablet stand

Looking for a tablet stand but not sure what size you need? By measuring your tablet properly, you’ll avoid buying a stand that doesn’t fit your device.

How to measure your tablet:

  • Using a case? Measure your tablet with the case on.
  • No case? Measure the exact height, width, and thickness of the entire tablet.

Don’t just measure the screen size – measure the full dimensions of the tablet. Screen size in inches (e.g. 10" or 12.9") isn’t enough. The total external size is what really matters.

Why accurate measurement is important

Tablet stands come in many sizes and styles. Knowing your tablet’s dimensions helps you find a stable, secure stand that fits perfectly. This applies to both iPads and Android tablets from brands like Samsung, Lenovo, and Huawei.

Tip: Use a ruler or tape measure and write down the dimensions in millimeters. That makes it easier to compare with the stand’s specifications.
