Vandoren B45 Lyre Profile 88
The difference between a profile 88 and a traditional mouthpiece is the exterior angle of the beak. This angle is sharper with profile 88 mouthpieces. The biggest differences between the two are the playing position, sound projection, playing comfort and precise articulation. The musician has to discover for themselves which fits better.
The B45 lyre has a large tip opening that provides a flexible, round sound while the mouthpiece remains easy to play.
